As I was walking to college I saw the most beautiful tree
overflowing with beautiful, bright, reddish brown leaves. I picked one up from
the ground as I passed. Eventually, it made me think of something. So, often we
get caught up with busy scurry all around us. Maybe, it’s the paper that almost
due. Maybe it’s work deadlines or appointments that we’re running hopelessly
late for. There’s just always another thing that HAS to be done now. It’s in
our rush that we fail to see the simple, incredible things that are all around
us. In our haste and a busy scheduled daily routine of life, we miss the beauty
that’s right in front of us. Even something as seemingly insignificant as a
fallen leaf can bring joy to someone’s life, like I did to mine. I
wondered…what small, maybe seemingly insignificant thing can I do today maybe
bring a bit of that joy to someone else’s day?....
