Barney Stinson is fundamentally more likeable. But being who he really is, that is an actor pouring sentimental glop all over the character. His world famous pick up lines have inspired and ‘motivated’ men a lot, in weird sick ways >.< but yeah it's still loved by female audiences as well like me!! =p

It's an unenlightened by any knowledge of the real world or real people. It's gonna be legen... wait for it.. dary!!

But comedy is conflict.=p Sheldon is funnier because there's more conflict, less sentimentality.“disease-like-intelligent", amazing (not actually meant) and hilarious representation of humanity.. lol!!
