MODERN INDEPENDENT WOOMAN ??

"shudders at the thought of the headline"

I am a self confessed modern independent woman =) and tired out of being misunderstood but in my opinion (thank God for freedom of speec!) this is about some of what I think. My lists here I come..

1. The word is Independent. I don't need to define independent. Okay for those who still don't know..

(a) I need something, I get it. Don't be surprised to hear I got something without your knowledge. I had a lot of problems with my dad and 'male' siblings like how I went here and there and get some job done. The reason a woman gets past primary school, secondary school then to university means she has some of those killer instincts men have. They need something, they get it. Understand our "man ego" to get our own stuff. It doesn't mean you are any less superior or not needed. As Ne-Yo would say A woman who wants you but doesn't need you.

If you still don't get it, tune to Red fim, a song played by the minute
Miss Independent-Neyo

2. We hardly understand the male ego and why it needs to be pampered. Thankfully, there is a book on this one lately. Would never have figured on our own and anyway there are so many men to remind us of the fact. My male colleagues are experts on this matter.. lol

3. When we read "He is just not that into You" we felt like tossing it on the dust bin. We probably know that you are just that not into us.. But independent women with that instinct still doesn't want to lose. That is the main reason we keep on.. especially if the opportunity for good s* looks promising. Other than that it is for ego satisfaction.

4. We did well in school, we do well in our jobs, we start to think we can do well in everything. We still think we can fix your career, job, home. Lynette (every1 knws her unless if u nvr evr watch DH) of Desperate Housewives struggles to keep a healthy balance between what a woman is meant to be and the fact that she is smarter than her husband.. Pathetic it seems :\

5.If we don't know how to fix a tyre, a bulb ( you are kidding me right) or those other things, we will learn it and from someone who knows it better than you. A mechanic perhaps.. If  only you could understand. Sometimes we pretend we can't fix the bulb just to appease that famous male ego. Well, 'sometimes' =p

6. We understand you (might or might not) hate smart women and you will keep saying demeaning things to hurt us. This is what I have gone through. It's not my fault I happened to read a lot of books (that makes one smart, huh??) and especially where you are as read as I am, it's just plain weirdo traditional shame on you thinking. A generalized statement =.= No hard feelings, guys!!! =p

7. Learn to live with us. Less demanding!!

8. We don't think the world revolves around men. Why don't you just live with it. Many traditional women think that life is all about their men, which is what probably God intended it to be before he made us smarter (even God changes his mind) yeah like you have not seen children are born with their eyes wide open these days! But really we love you. That's it. But you don't have the last word on everything. Well. most of the time perhaps..

9. We love you as you are. For reals. We will even buy you a watch to show it! =D

10. We don't get the part that a woman cannot have platonic male friends. (sort of undeniable fact for some socialized people)

11.When we meet a man, we assess him on very many levels. Providing for us is not one of those, this we can figure out. We look at your ability to say the truth, your honesty,capability/liability, dominance, 'some beyond like secret weapons', your family members (fly background), and your ability to sustain conversation on various things and etc =))

Isn't it easy not challengeable???? =D

Lesson indeed!!

Here I go again. Brain on overdrive, fantasizing about something and getting myself all hormonal and wound up again. So, I wonder, are chemistry and hormones the only things that motivates us, and is our brain mainly guided by our S* urges? If human beings are slave to these urges, are we really as civilized as we think we are? Isn't self-control one of the qualities that is supposed to mark the difference between us and the rest of the animal kingdom? How can I make all those promises about resisting and keep my butterfly wings to myself, yet sit here and thinking like some kind of senseless creature ??!!

Homemade Toast Pizzaaa

The best and easiest homemade pizza ever? Really?

I know, it’s a bold statement. And if it was my own recipe, I’d have to be pretty full of myself to say it. But, since it’s not my recipe, but gaah it tastes nice at the end. =p

All you need >>>>>
~Bread
~Cheesedale
~Tuna (mayonnaise)
~Hot-dogs
~Basil leaves (fasterfoods)
~Margarine/Planta
~SOS salad (Lady's Choice)

How to prepare it??
1) Spread margarine on a slice of bread and followed by Tuna.
2) Cut hotdog and cheesedale into a very small tiny pieces and add on the bread as toppings.
3) Add Sos salad (choose the orange colour1) on bread slightly.
4) Finally, spread a bit of dried basil leaves on the bread.
5) Bake the bread in a 400 degree F oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when checked. Remove from the pans and allow the bread to cool upside down.

(well, I could say tht the sos was a bit too much..hehe ;p)

But stil its taste good =)

Have it with a cup of hot milo, milk, fresh juice or whatever  you prefer =D

Well

N0t bad. I mean, I could have had a better one, but I could have had a worse one, I guess. But if I did have a better or worse one, then I guess I wouldnt be me, so 'that' wouldnt work out, either. I mean , I'd be a different one me. I'd still be me, bcuz who else who I be?

-sigh-

Nature's Language

The language of the wind.. is it it's sound or music?
The language of the flower.. is it it's color or fragrance?
The language of the ocean.. is it it's waves or foam?
The language of love.. is it the eyes or the lips?
Understand the languages of nature,
Man's languages are unnecessary,
Understand the heart's languages,
No language is necessary for human..

When the wind blows, there aren't any directions..
When love speaks, there aren't any languages..
One can't understand silence (like one understands) spoken words,
(God?) won't know the words spoken by the eyes...
The wind, who roams and wanders cannot be given a shape..
The language of love does not lie in the domain of sound (voice/words)..
Understand the languages of nature,
Man's languages are unnecessary,
Understand the heart's languages,
No language is needed for human...
if we understand the language of nature..

The sky's speech (language) emerges as droplets..
The rainbow's speech (language) emerges as color..
When truth becomes silent, one speaks (language) tears..
When (a woman's) femininity becomes silent, (her) shyness will emerge..
(The time) When all sound sleeps, tiny(?) fishes talk(language)..
In (one's) heart where desire sleeps, slight movements too become a language..
Understand the languages of nature,
Man's languages are unnecessary,
Understand the heart's languages,
No language is needed for human..

NOT at all..

=)
