Lesson indeed!!

Here I go again. Brain on overdrive, fantasizing about something and getting myself all hormonal and wound up again. So, I wonder, are chemistry and hormones the only things that motivates us, and is our brain mainly guided by our S* urges? If human beings are slave to these urges, are we really as civilized as we think we are? Isn't self-control one of the qualities that is supposed to mark the difference between us and the rest of the animal kingdom? How can I make all those promises about resisting and keep my butterfly wings to myself, yet sit here and thinking like some kind of senseless creature ??!!

Homemade Toast Pizzaaa

The best and easiest homemade pizza ever? Really?

I know, it’s a bold statement. And if it was my own recipe, I’d have to be pretty full of myself to say it. But, since it’s not my recipe, but gaah it tastes nice at the end. =p

All you need >>>>>
~Bread
~Cheesedale
~Tuna (mayonnaise)
~Hot-dogs
~Basil leaves (fasterfoods)
~Margarine/Planta
~SOS salad (Lady's Choice)

How to prepare it??
1) Spread margarine on a slice of bread and followed by Tuna.
2) Cut hotdog and cheesedale into a very small tiny pieces and add on the bread as toppings.
3) Add Sos salad (choose the orange colour1) on bread slightly.
4) Finally, spread a bit of dried basil leaves on the bread.
5) Bake the bread in a 400 degree F oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when checked. Remove from the pans and allow the bread to cool upside down.

(well, I could say tht the sos was a bit too much..hehe ;p)

But stil its taste good =)

Have it with a cup of hot milo, milk, fresh juice or whatever  you prefer =D

Nature's Language

The language of the wind.. is it it's sound or music?
The language of the flower.. is it it's color or fragrance?
The language of the ocean.. is it it's waves or foam?
The language of love.. is it the eyes or the lips?
Understand the languages of nature,
Man's languages are unnecessary,
Understand the heart's languages,
No language is necessary for human..

When the wind blows, there aren't any directions..
When love speaks, there aren't any languages..
One can't understand silence (like one understands) spoken words,
(God?) won't know the words spoken by the eyes...
The wind, who roams and wanders cannot be given a shape..
The language of love does not lie in the domain of sound (voice/words)..
Understand the languages of nature,
Man's languages are unnecessary,
Understand the heart's languages,
No language is needed for human...
if we understand the language of nature..

The sky's speech (language) emerges as droplets..
The rainbow's speech (language) emerges as color..
When truth becomes silent, one speaks (language) tears..
When (a woman's) femininity becomes silent, (her) shyness will emerge..
(The time) When all sound sleeps, tiny(?) fishes talk(language)..
In (one's) heart where desire sleeps, slight movements too become a language..
Understand the languages of nature,
Man's languages are unnecessary,
Understand the heart's languages,
No language is needed for human..

NOT at all..

=)

I am done! Or, am I?

I take two steps ahead.
I think.
I step back.
I stand where I was before.
I think again.
I pull myself out of it.
I persuade myself.
And then, I take a leap.
I run.
Only to know that I've reached nowhere.
For once, I'd like to know I hold something in my hand.

Development, development n development!!!

Personal development can be fun. But often times, it can also feel like a chore. You have to do this, do that and practice this, practice that and you don’t really feel like it, and you’re not seeing fast enough improvements, and you’re frustrated and disheartened.. =(
In the long term, if you wanna keep developing yourself and see meaningful changes in your life, it’s important for personal development to be fun and to be able to enjoy the journey, NOT just the destination.. ^^ ( some brief explanations with google-derived images)

~ Stop IT!!
Thinking You Need Personal Development?? Duh, put a full stop for it first >.<
Most people tend to go into personal development with the perception that they are broken and they need fixing. Some of them see themselves as damaged goods at some level, and they see self-improvement as the necessary solution.
However, this is rarely, if ever the case. You’re not broken and you don’t need fixing. Sure, you may have your flaws and imperfections, but doesn’t everybody?

When you realize this and you accept it, you stop seeing self-improvement as something you need, and you start to see it as something you want. You want it because you know bettering yourself will result in a better life, but you don’t truly need it. It’s a personal choice.
It’s like: “If it goes well, great, if not, oh well, at least I enjoyed it”. And this is an amazing mindset to have..

~ It is SLOW!!
Personal development can be slow.
Change doesn’t happen overnight and this creates frustration. There is a work around this frustration, which is to reward yourself for every small progress you make. It can take you years to reach your desired destination. But you’ll make progress every single day. Why not take pleasure in it?
Well, you can do this. Firstly by acknowledging all progress and being grateful for it, and secondly by rewarding yourself for it.
What gives you instant gratification? Movies, games, relaxation, going out?

~ Do It Together With Others
Most activities are more fun when done along with other people than when done alone. Personal development is definitely one of them. (Obviously, we do need buddies!!)
When one or more other people accompany you on the same journey, you share stories, you learn from one another, you support each other, and the journey is visibly more delightful.
That’s why it’s good to have company in self-growth.

This company can be a friend you have in real life, which you get to join you on your journey. If you want, for instance, to work on building your public speaking skills over the next year, tell some friends about this and see if you can get them to join you.
So if your real friends are not helpful regarding your self-improvement, try some virtual ones.

~ Choose Fun Personal Development Activities
Most personal development goals can be reached through a range of personal development exercises or activities. And some are a lot more fun than others.
You can increase your communication skills by going to formal social events and carefully studying every word you say, or by going to chill parties, talking with lots of people, being genuine and seeing what happens. The second choice will likely be a lot more fun. (No, trust me when I say so**)
Whatever self-improvement goals you have, take some time to consider how to go about reaching them. Try to see the full array of possibilities and out of them choose the ones that seem most enjoyable. In fact it can be so much fun that the destination becomes secondary, and you just wanna be on the journey. Because it’s a fulfilling, integral part if your lifestyle, and your life simply wouldn’t be the same without it. That’s a great place to be in. =))

(Note: I've been squeezing each cell in my brain to create this post. So, you might be or might not be think whether it can't be applicable in your daily routine.. hehe, whatever it is feel free to practice it first. I' m pretty sure that you will be fed enough with its awesome outcomes. Practice makes PERFECT!!)
